Hi, I'm Amber Hicks, wife to Mark and mama to Hudson + Hazel + another baby girl on the way. I'm a preschool teacher by trade and a self-taught carpenter.

You'll usually find me woodworking in the garage with my son by my side or gardening with my daughter on my hip or painting with a watercolor brush in one hand and a glass of champagne in the other.

I have a passion for open-ended, hands-on, outdoor fun with my children, and I started Hicks Craft Co. to inspire other parents to support that kind of play in their homes, too.
